EasyJet has released its Easter 2021 flight sale five months ahead of schedule this year, with tens of thousands of people able to book their holidays early. People can buy cheap one-way flights for two weeks during the first half of next year, with prices starting as low as £14.99.

Most of the country may have to wait some time before the government relaxes UK movement restrictions.

Currently, people must stay indoors unless exercising or journeying out for necessities.

Sadly this means the glorious spring weather has arrived under-appreciated, but EasyJet has made it easier for people to enjoy the same time next year under foreign sun.

The airline has released its Easter sale five months early this year, with flights now bookable between March 28 and April 18.

Trips start from £14.99 one way and include an additional hold bag and sports equipment for 99p.

EasyJet said the new sale would give travellers who had to ditch plans this year due to the coronavirus “further options” to rebook.

Those who already had spring bookings can move their slots to next year’s Easter period for no extra cost.

People can book via easyJet’s flight booking tool by selecting the dates they want to travel.

Currently, experts suggest up to 39,000 flights will take place across the easyJet network between March 28 and April 18.

In total, 6.7 million passengers could travel with the airline on holiday next year.

People will have to hurry to book, however, as the offer ends on Friday, April 24.

Robert Carey, easyJet Chief Commercial and Planning Officer said the flights would give the UK a “connectivity boost” following the coronavirus pandemic.

He said: “We know many people’s Easter holiday plans have been disrupted this year and so we’ve taken the decision to put our Easter flights for 2021 on sale early so our customers can either book a new break or, if they are rearranging their travel plans, have even more dates and destinations to choose from.

“We are really pleased to have added to our domestic flight network so that the regions in the UK will have a connectivity boost following the pandemic.”

EasyJet also announced it would put the remainder of its summer 2021 flights on sale at a later date.

EasyJet’s Easter 2021 sale features dates which fall during the Easter holidays next year.
